Welcome Art Workshops Retreats Illuminated Life Workshop Nancy's Artwork Contact Nancy Bern Edwards, artist Nancy Bern Edwards is an artist and a poet, with a degree in Education. Vivid color and texture captivates Nancy because it shows a sense of fun and adventure. She enjoys expressing life and all its phases in her artwork and helping others do the same. After a recent seven year stay in Hawaii where she freely indulged and refined her color sense and learned Sumi-e, she has returned to take up residence in the Pacific Northwest. Her award winning art has been found in numerous juried art shows throughout the last decade and she has enjoyed memberships in Skagit Artists Together, the Hawaii WaterColor Society, the Windward Artists Guild, and the  Auburn Valley Art Association. Nancy believes: “God and nature speak to us constantly from abundance. Art is a wonderful place to break the rules, to expand and create, to exemplify life and your personality, and to rediscover playfulness."
